The Philippines stormed out with a 23-6 start and widened the gap to 43 points in the second period, 54-11, following a 27-0 outburst.

Kyles Lao fired 15 points, while Isaac Go and Prince Rivero chipped in nine markers each.

“We’re expected to beat Indonesia, so we set goals before the game which is really to work on our defense and rebounding. We’re looking ahead,” said national youth coach Olsen Racela.
