PBA Rookie Draft 1st round recap



Manila - The first round of the 2011 PBA Rookie Draft has concluded. And there was no surprise who the top pick is.
JV Casio, who currently with the Smart Gilas, was selected first by the Powerade Tigers. Paul Lee, who played recently for the PBA Developmental League, was picked second overall by the Rain or Shine. His selection is a positive result of the PBA D-League program. The third overall selected is Chris Lutz, from Smart Gilas and played college basketball in Marshall University in the US. Petron was able to pick as high as third via trade with __ they gave up Mick Pennisi and Sunday Salvacion to strengthen their shooting guard position.
