Manila - As preparation for the upcoming FIBA Asia 2011 that will serve as a qualifier for the 2012 Olympics Basketball event in London, our National Team, the Smart Gilas-Pilipinas, will be joining the annual William Jones Cup tournament held in Taiwan.

This will a beneficial tournament for the reason that most of the asian teams that join this tournament are also the teams that will be representing their countries to the FIBA Asia 2011. This will give us a glimpse of how our team can compete against Asia's best.

I checked ESPN Asia's website. They will be showing the William Jones Cup on ESPN.
According to AKTV website, they will be showing the Jones Cup on Free TV!
